New Areas
This update mainly features the northern area behind the great lizard gate of Zao. Also a new dungeon under Banuta will be reachable within the main quest. I will not spoil here how to reach the new area, because Zalamon is waiting for you and will soon tell you how to cross the great gate. The NPCs in the new area will provide you with further information about Zao and the conflict between the emperor and the resistance.
Apart from Razzachai with its glorious palace, you will find numerous other landmarks behind the Great Gate - such as cursed rice terraces, a forbidden village, old temple complexes and a hidden rebel base.
Once you have reached an area, preferably try to explore it completely - meaning there shouldn't be any black spots left on your map. While you are in the new areas, please check the following things:
* Use the new mailboxes and check whether the mail arrives at its proper destination
* Can you get close enough to all signs to read them?
* Look at new decorative elements
New NPCs
Please have a conversation with the following NPCs. Depending on their function, check if e.g. buying/selling single and multiple items or exchanging money works as it should. If an NPC is questrelated and doesn't have any other function, you can wait until solving that specific part of the quest before talking to him.

Changes in Bank NPCs
All Bank NPC have been extended with a new Check: Before you are given the amount of gold you want to withdraw, the NPC checks if you have enough space and capacity in your inventory. If the check fails, the NPC does not throw the money on the ground (as it was until now) but will abort the transaction. So your money will be save from be thrown at the ground.
New Monsters
Please find and kill the following new monsters - actually you should stumble over all of them automatically while exploring the new areas. Check if they are too strong for the area where you have found them. Are all corpses displayed correctly in all decay states? Are the corpses (not) movable or (not) takeable according to their size and weight? Does anything seem strange about their loot? Are the monsters killing themselves?

There are also new raids and boss monsters which will not be spoiled here. Some of them you might encounter during your quests, others maybe per coincidence.
New Outfits
We have implemented a new outfit in the Style of a travelling adventurer, which will be a reward of the main questline. Please check out if all colors change correctly and look for graphic bugs.
New Quests
a) Main Quest
The Main Quest will bring you behind the great gate. In order to start the Quest, you need to have helped Zalamon already in it's fight against the emperor. On the testerver, these preconditions will be set (if needed) by the testserver assistants, if you ask them about 'quest'.
b) Other
Some other NPCs also need your help:
* An NPC in Edron tries to forget it's problems with a mug of beer...
* An NPC in Farmine who has special interests in some plants
* An NPC who resides in a mysterious old village in the mountains north of the great gate.
* Jean Pierre needs you to try out the new contest-winning meals
Items, Loot, Hunting Grounds
A lot of new items have been implemented. Besides Questrewards and new Questitems, a lot of old monsters have changed the stuff they usually carry with them, so a great number of new items is waiting to be looted by you. I will not spoil a comprehensive list of the items, but i will provide you with the adjusted monsters. Please try to kill each monster until it drops something uncommon. The new loot items should all be stackable, so pleast test them on stacking and their correct names and descriptions. The items will be sellable to NPCs, especially Legola, Todd, Melfar, Brengus und Partos have begun to buy lootitems.

Stackable Potions and Runes
The last issue is the one with the most influence on our game mechanics: Runes and Potions are now stackable. Keyrings have changed to Jewelled Backpacks (which have 22 Slots and weigh 17 Oz.). In addition you will get a broken keyring for each keyring that has been in your inventory, which can be sold to Partos for 8k gold. Overcharged runes have been converted to special memorial items. To test this feature i need all of you to take care at the following subjects:
Check your inventory
As we have converted all Characters, please check if your items are still nearly the same as Monday the 14th of june (the time where the backup has been taken). Your potions should NOT have been autostacked, so besides changing in overcharged runes and the change of keyrings to Jewelled Backpacks, your inventory should not have been touched.
Use the stacks
Use potions runes and all other stacks in the most fluent situations: Moving, Trading with each other, trading with NPCs, sending Post, claiming rewards, looting...
Various Adjustments
Extended Statement Reports
Since we have extended the statement reports, you can test this feature with the Tesserver Client: Try to make statement reports from all of the following Channels and in various constellations:
* Party channels
* Guild channels
* Private chat channels
* Default channel
* Private messages.
Achievements
We have introduced achievements which can be viewed on the website. For this purpose we have implemented a test website at

* Read about achievemnts in the Library-Section
* View your own achievements in the "Edit Character" Section
* Select achievements in the "Edit Character" Section that will be shown on your character info page.
* View the selected achievements on the character info page
Various
We have also implemented some bugfixes and adjustements:
* Increased the expire-time of Harmless Magic Fields on Optional-PvP Worlds.
* Dead Fire Elementals do not drop FireFields but "Remains of an elemental"
* Added the "Kick"-Feature to the most important Captains to prevent blocking/trapping on boats
