Item System:
In Ascalon, items play a vital role in determining your character's strength. Upgrade your weapons to gain special attributes such as critical strike chance, life leech, extra damage, and even a chance to stun your target. Enhance other equipment with attributes like dodge, mana regeneration, speed, repel, and more! The basic attributes of equipment include armor (protection against physical damage) and resists (reducing damage from magic). You can even acquire rare recipes that allow you to add incredibly powerful bonuses to your equipment, such as the ability to revive when you die.


Monster System:
Monsters in Ascalon are fully custom and have their own levels. There are also white-skulled and red-skulled monsters that spawn rarely. These monsters spawn with a much higher level and are much more powerful, but they also have a much higher drop chance and more experience. It's recommended to hunt monsters that are close to your level. Monsters with a higher level than yours will deal additional damage to you, and your damage to them will be lowered.

When you look at monsters, it will tell you the monster's level, how many of them you've killed, and their armor and resistances.


Spells:
In Ascalon, only the healing spells from the original Tibia game remain. All attack spells are entirely new and possess their own unique effects, including stunning, slowing, or burning your target. This diversity allows you to choose the most suitable spell for various situations. For instance, burning spells may be more effective during hunting, while stunning spells can provide a significant advantage against other players.

Character Attributes:
You can make your character much more powerful by collecting addons and mounts, enchanting your equipment, and completing quests. This also allows you to customize your character - do you want to deal more damage or be more tanky? Or perhaps a mix of both? The choice is up to you.
