Paul Scholes has revealed that he believes that Manchester United’s Angel di Maria is not happy at his club.
Di Maria joined United this summer for a British record transfer fee of £59.7million and has had a good start to life in Manchester, scoring three goals and assisting four in eight appearances.
However, Scholes, who spent his entire youth and professional career at Old Trafford, has told fans in his column in the Evening Standard, that the Argentina international is looking ‘downbeat’ and he reckons he is unsettled.
“Preparing for the Liverpool game in Madrid this week, I watched re-runs of last season and Angel Di Maria was smiling broadly as he celebrated goal after goal with Cristiano Ronaldo,” the former England midfielder wrote.
“He doesn’t seem to be in the same happy mood at United. It feels downbeat among the team.”
This week, the former Rosario Central and Benfica winger was linked with a move back to Real Madrid, after various news sources revealed that the Red Devils were keen on Gareth Bale and were prepared to swap di Maria, as well as offering cash, in order to land their man.
Boże, czy on nie może zamknąć gęby w końcu? Od roku pierdoli takie głupoty o MU, że żal na to patrzeć.
