In addition to
http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflege...ease_your_fps/ and
http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflege..._to_mid_range/ there are even more tricky tips, that buffs your fps amount and not ruin your gameplay (I guess)
Custom Game Performance Enhancer application
http://www.alphasoftwaretools.de/pro...E_II/GPE_2.rar (might alert virus, here is scan)
It regulates the CPU priorities and channels the performance for one single process. It also cleans up the memory. Simply paste it where lol.launcher.exe is placed and start the game by using the GPE shortcut.
What does it give
Depending on your RAM and CPU usage, enchances your FPS by decent amount (game always looks smoother than without it) (>10 fps)
No troubles with launching and install, also does not consume any additional RAM
Alright, there's how you install it, paste it to your LoL folder, launch GPE_2.exe, that will create a shortcut on desktop, and that's how it works
Custom low quality maps
http://yurixyworks.com/category/game...summoner-rift/ Thanks to great 'Yurixy works' map experience, you can download a custom map which improves your FPS a lot due to lower quality textures. Make sure to download SIU (Skin installer ultimate) and choose low quality map skin! (LQ)
What does it give
Different map look! After all, your eyes might be tired of seeing the same green Summoners Rift, freedom of choice! (less freedom of choice for LQ maps)
Buffs your FPS extremely (sometimes even 40 fps!)
Might be troubling to install
Also straight from map maker /u/Yurixy:
Just some info: Riot does not allow anymore HD or LD variations.
Only the SD (standard quality) is able to work in a game since patch 3.11
Also, only the new maps skins works (with the "fixed" seal)
game.cfg - everything hidden in one file
http://speedy.sh/7b3Vt/game.cfg Overwrite it in League of Legends -> Config folder. If it doesn't work, check the file 'read only' in game.cfg options. Also if you don't feel playing with lower resolution (800x600) change the resolution in-game. Overall this file has everything off'd and on to provide the highest amount of FPS possible. The cons you get from it is a huge scoreboard (only for lower resolution screen)
What does it give
File contains everything that is needed to give the biggest amount of performance during the game
It has also extra lines that does not exist by default in game.cfg file
Kudos to /u/Lolheals for noticing!
If there's anyone here that has tried all these and is still getting low fps or a constant fps of around 30 or so
check if your computer has different performance modes. I tried all the steps and it seemed like I was
benchmarked at 30 somehow, tried changing from power saver to high performance and hello 150fps!
For everyone that tried it, please tell me the results of the work. (the fps rise and stuff) Sometimes your FPS will not rise because of different CPU/GPU, and I cannot expect that.
