Cytuj:
I am a long-time player. I was never cutting-edge, but I raided my fair share of hardmodes and Heroics during Wrath (I downed Normal LK before the 10% buff was introduced, and was 11/12 Heroic before 30% buff). I was fairly decent, going as far as getting Herald of the Titans before ICC. During Cata I took a break, but came back and was 5/7 H Firelands, and eventually progressed through Dragon Soul before quitting. I've always considered myself a Heroic Raider (not best of the best but moderately good).
However, all I hear right now is how MoP is so easy compared to Wrath and BC, etc. I have to say shut the hell up. After a long break again I decided to rejoin my old Heroic raiding guild and start back up on the pain train. After my first week I have to say I'm considering quitting again, just because the sheer amount of mechanics is frankly above me. It's never really happened in my entire career of raiding. Some fights are pretty easy (Jinrokh, Ji-Kun, Megaera) but the fights in ToT are some of the most complex I have ever seen. Fights like Horridon where you have to constantly keep track of bad stuff on the floor, DPSing boss, DPSing adds, interrupting various spellcasts, dodging a fucking pink dinosaur that follows you the entire fight, etc. Or Tortos, where you have to manage turtles, bats and falling stalactites while simultaneously casting on something to give you a damage shield. Or Lei Shen, which is one of the most punshing fights I've ever seen in my entire life, much harder than H LK without the 30% buff.
All I'm saying is that the majority of people who are crying about the fights being easy must be either delusional or have not actually played during previous expansions, or are playing Normal or LFR difficulty. Sorry about the vent but I've had an extremely rough week coming back to the Heroic raiding scene and I hate when I see people complaining about it being easy.
