Oki, here we go.
First of all, I'd like to thank you for the extensive feedback you have provided so far. I've already forwarded it and discussed several points with the product management.
Now let me comment on the hottest issues:
Concerning the AOL:
The majority of you disapproved of our plan to remove the amulet of loss as such. Several points against such a removal were brought forward, but especially your concern that the removal would probably lead to pk traps near temples, depots and/or blessing NPCs was convincing. After a discussion with the product management, we decided to keep the AOL ingame as it is for the time being and in addition to the new blessings (which reduce xp, skills and risk of item loss). This also means that AOLs won't turn into broken amulets after the patch.
However, we reserve the right to remove it as soon as we have found a better solution to the trapping problem near temples, depots and NPCs who sell blessings.
Concerning blessings you have bought before the patch:
The blessings you have before the patch, will be automatically changed into new blessings with the patch. So if you have all five blessings now, you will automatically have five "new" blessings after the patch including all the benefits (which also means a one-time gift of 100% item loss protection for free).
Concerning red skulls:
If a player has a red skull, he killed too many unmarked characters within a certain period of time which leads to sanctions. So yes, red skulls will have to pay the same amount for blessings like all other players even though they will still lose all items on death. Please keep in mind, however, that only red skulls of level 120 and above have to pay 100k for all blessings. We will reduce the experience and skill loss in general so you don't have to buy all 5 blessings to benefit from roughly the same reduced xp and skill loss you could get before the patch after buying all five blessings for 50k. After the patch even red skulls will be able to reduce their xp and skill loss considerably more than it was possible before the patch.
Concerning PvP-enforced:
Experience and skill loss will be reduced in general, also on PvP-e worlds. Thus, PvP-e players will get less experience from killing other players than before.
Concerning PvP in general:
As you know, PvP is a very complex topic that has to be handled with due care and consideration. The death penalty also influences PvP, so it's already a first step. Time did not allow for more changes this time. Rest assured that the PvP re-evaluation is still a hot topic for us and we will continue to work on it.
Concerning skill loss:
The skill loss will be aligned with the experience loss. The percentage you will lose from your total experience if you die (e.g. Lvl 100, no promo, no bless: 4.5% exp loss), that percentage you will lose from your total skill (e.g. Lvl 100, no promo, no bless: 4.5% skill loss). With promo and blessings you can of course reduce the loss further.
