Cytuj:
Consider this:
A level 100+ gets reported for botting.
GM visits, but the botter is not AFK.
CiP logs all message to and from a player (very likely actually).
They get the report from the GM, though the evidence was inconcclusive.
THey apply a filter to the logs they have, looking for things implying botting.
This could be a number of things:
Trade messages sent exactly each 120 seconds.
Healing exactly each second.
Admitting to use a bot in PM (very stupid, you really shouldn't talk about botting inside Tibia...)
Buying more than 100 of each item at an NPC (It's possible with Blackd, by sending a hex where you buy for example 120 pots, while the client only allows for 100).
Now they simply need to add this together and decide if it's strong enough indication to ban the player.
The reason for only doing it against high levels is pretty clear, if they'd have an automatic detection ALL cheater would be banned, instantly. Now only the higher levels got banned, which indicates they are doing the check-up manually.
This would also support the thesis that all bots are "detected", because they work similarily (except for the 100+ buying).
I feel pretty certain they didn't add any detection to the client (except for MC) in the last update, because I know my AV would complain if it'd try to do anything it wasn't supposed to.
Just my two cents.
wg mnie dosyć istotne założenia , zakładając , że prawdziwe :)
